Scott Macdonald was brought up in the village of Eaglesham on the southside of Glasgow and now lives in milngavie on the north side of Glasgow he is a musician who frequently travels the highlands and islands of Scotland playing music.
“Two years ago I began taking photographs as I travelled around the Highlands and Islands on the west coast of Scotland while playing gigs. I have always had an immense passion for the Highlands and Islands, maybe its because my Grandfather comes from Skye? who knows! but one thing for sure is that I have always been pulled there. I had no intensions of becoming a photographer it just happened, I love these places so much I felt I had to capture these memories. I hope you like the pictures.”
