We do not serve evening meals
or lunches at Gairloch Highland Lodge (apart from large groups/parties
etc which have been pre-booked). However we offer a range of menus to
suit all tastes at our award winning sister hotel The Old Inn which is
just a 5-minute walk away.
Food plays a very important role at The Old Inn, and guests return
again and again to savour the renowned Scottish West Coast seafood and
Highland game produce. Our dishes mostly comprise of locally caught fish
( such as monkfish, hake, sole, calamaris, salmon and haddock) and
shellfish ( crab, langoustine, mussels, scallops, Lobster) and local
estates provide us with wild venison, pheasant and partridge. Several
recipes by our Head Chef, Chris Bentley, have appeared in cookery books
and mentioned in national newspaper articles. The hotel also has its own
small smokehouse where Chris smokes a range of fish and game for our
menus.
